Today is World Mosquito Day! The United States and Taiwan have a long history of STEM cooperation and academic exchange, including through the “GLOBE” program (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment). Did you know that 61 schools in Taiwan participate in the GLOBE program? From summer 2020 to spring 2021, AIT worked with Hsin Tien Senior High School and Xin Wu Senior High School to collect data on mosquitos and help combat mosquito-borne diseases.
